Ceanothus 'Victoria' - Victoria Blueblossom

So much to love about Ceanothus 'Victoria'. This drought tolerant shrub is a prolific bloomer and is covered in clusters of small blue flowers in May and June. Bees and other pollinators love the flowers! It is evergreen and moderately fast growing which makes it and excellent choice for screening. Ceanothus form a symbiotic relationship with bacteria in their roots which can pull nitrogen from the air and convert it to fertilizer for the plant.  Fertilization is usually not necessary.
